Will Panathinaikos buy Wawrzyniak after all?

Hugollek - Wiadomość archiwalna

According to "Fakt", Panathinaikos Athens still considers whether to buy Jakub Wawrzyniak or not. The board of the "Clovers" can buy the defender from Legia on condition that they will be able to sell Wawrzyniak to another club this summer. The footballer was loaned to Athens in the winter break for 500.000 euro with a clause that after the end of the season Panathinaikos will be able to buy the player for one million euro.

On 10th June the club from Athens officially gave up on buying the Pole by informing that Wawrzyniak was nabbed on stimulants for the second time.

Nevertheless, Wawrzyniak decided to appeal against the decision of the Disciplinary Proceedings Committee which disqualified the Polish defender for three months. If the footballer receives a positive decision, then it's probable that Panathinaikos will buy him by transferring into Legia's account the second instalment in the amount of 750.000 euro.
