Legia lost 1-3 its friendly game against MSV Duisburg in Austria. However, Warsaw team’s players could have been delighted with its beginning. After Legia’s first action and thanks to Bruno Soares’s own goal, footballers from the capital of Poland were leading 1-0. Unfortunately, it was only worse since then. German players equalised thanks to… Michał Żewłakow’s own goal. Legia’s defender was trying to stop the ball with a sliding tackle from finding its way to the net.

It’s worth mentioning that this is… the second own goal of our defender in two friendly games. Six minutes later Markus Bollmann struck the second goal for Duisburg, and after only two minutes Germans were leading 3-1 thanks to Daniel Brosinski’s goal. The first half finished with a 3-1 result. No more goals were scored in the second half.

Theoretically, Maciej Skorża decided to choose the best lineup for this game. Both Dusan Kuciak, who wants to sign a contract with Warsaw club and Danijel Ljuboja, who is recovering after an injury, played in the match.
