UEFA Europa League: Rosenborg 2-1 Legia

Hugollek - Wiadomość archiwalna

In the second leg of the UEFA Europa League play-off round Legia Warsaw was defeated 2-1 in Trondheim by Rosenborg Ballklub on Thursday evening. Due to last week’s draw 1-1 in the capital of Poland Warsaw footballers were knocked out of the tournament. We induce you to see 43 photographs from the game taken by Mishka and to watch a video with above mentioned choreography below.

In Norway there were about 300 Polish supporters who prepared an interesting choreography for the game which consisted of a folic banner with inscription "We bring light to those who always see the darkness" (Polish: "Niesiemy światło tym, co ciągle widzą ciemność"), which was brightened up with some pyrotechnics and of some handflags.
The first goal was scored by Legia. Janusz Gol managed to regain the ball in the central part of the pitch, he passed the ball to Danijel Ljuboja, who began to run towards Daniel Örlund’s goal and eventually defeated him with a nice kick.
After the break Rosenborg’s players started to attack Legia’s goal time and time again. Finally, they struck two goals. The first one was scored with a header by Tore Reginiussen after a free kick. The second one was struck by Mikkel Diskerud, who took advantage of Warsaw defenders’ mistake.
The match finished with Rosenborg Ballklub’s 2-1 victory over Legia.
