In the second leg of the UEFA Europa League play-off round Legia’s players defeated 2-0 FK Aktobe’s footballers at Łazienkowska on Thursday evening. Thanks to 1-0 victory over the team from Kazakhstan a week earlier, Warsaw club won 3-0 on aggregate and promoted to the group stage of this European tournament.

The first goal was scored by Michał Kucharczyk, who made use of Michał Żyro’s pass and defeated Aktobe’s goalkeeper. Ivica Vrdoljak was author of Legia’s second goal – he properly executed a penalty.

It’s worth mentioning that Legia’s supporters presented an interesting choreography – UEFA’s logo with a pig inside holding a piece of paper with an inscription “6<1”. Below there was a banner with an inscription “Football doesn’t matter. Money does.”, which was a reference to Warsaw team’s excluding from the UEFA Champions League.

We encourage you to see three photo reports from the game prepared by: Mishka, GeoS and Kamil Marciniak.
