Legia Warsaw outclassed 4-0 Górnik in Zabrze. The first goal was scored in the 12th minute by Iñaki Astiz, who “finished” Ivica Vrdoljak’s header. Twenty minutes later it was 2-0 for Legia. Michał Żyro decided to take a long-range effort and fully surprised rivals’ goalkeeper because the football had found its way to the net.
The first half finished with Legia’s 2-0 leading. The third goal for Warsaw team was struck by Miroslav Radović, who took advantage of Helio Pinto’s pass. The result was fixed eight minutes before the end of the game when Orlando Sa defeated Górnik’s goalkeeper after Michał Żyro’s pass.
