Friendly: FC Viktoria Plzen 1-2 Legia

On Saturday afternoon Warsaw club played a friendly game against Czech FC Viktoria Plzeň. That match was also the first friendly during Legia’s preparatory camp in Turkish Belek. The first goal was scored in the 21st minute by Michał Kucharczyk, who received a great pass from the left side of the pitch and defeated Petr Bolek with a strong kick.
Six minutes before the end of the first half Legia was leading 2-0. After Michał Żyro had been fouled in the penalty area by David Limbersky, Orlando Sa properly executed a penalty given by the referee.
Viktoria’s footballers scored their only goal a few minutes before the final whistle. Warsaw team’s goalkeeper was taken aback by Aidin Mahmutović, who scored a very nice header.
It’s worth mentioning that Legia’s Ondrej Duda suffered a serious injury after he had been roughly fouled by David Limbersky.
